The impression of having two speakers in your head is very real. The instruments are placed all around the head, resulting in surgical precision. All frequency ranges are well reproduced. These Dali headphones take the song and send it to your ears as it was recorded and as it should be heard. No fuss, no frills, it’s easy to see why a dedicated application is unnecessary. What’s the point of distorting perfection?

Every frequency range is great: accurate timbre, well-rendered highs that are neither aggressive nor tiring. Good midrange that’s a delight with vocals. The bass is present, firm and articulate, but not overpowering as can be the case with other products that overemphasize and over-amplify it to the detriment of the rest of the signature. Add to this the accessories included to provide the perfect fit and match your listening preferences, and you’ve got a perfect solution. I forgot: they’re also beautiful and well finished.
