Through its dedicated car audio subsidiary, Sennheiser Mobility, the German manufacturer has unveiled an in-car audio system for the Cupra Formentor and Cupra Leon. With 12 speakers, it promises a unique and immersive in-car experience. This project follows an initial collaboration between Sennheiser Mobility and Continental.

Car audio system with 12 speakers
Back on the car audio market, Sennheiser has announced a new partnership with Cupra. Independent since 2018, the Spanish carmaker designs sports vehicles. The new Cupra Leon and Cupra Formentor iterations benefit from an optional Sennheiser Mobility in-car audio system. The latter is built around 12 drivers and powered by 425 watts.
Ambeo Concerto technology
The Sennheiser car audio system features Ambeo Concerto technology. If its name is reminiscent of Sennheiser soundbars such as the Ambeo SoundBar Max or Ambeo Soundbar Plus, this Artificial Intelligence processing optimizes the immersive experience onboard the Cupra Leon and Cupra Formentor vehicles. To achieve this, an algorithm processes the incoming stereo signal to recreate a three-dimensional soundstage. The partnership between the two manufacturers promises a unique sound experience.
