TCL took advantage of IFA 2024 to unveil its first Lifestyle TVs: the TCL NXTFRAME (A300 W) and TCL NXTFRAME Pro (A300 Pro). Intended to compete directly with the popular Samsung The Frame, these TVs are based on the same concept, with the option of displaying works of art.
A TV that becomes a work of art
Inspired by the Samsung The Frame concept, the new TCL NXTFRAME and TCL NXTFRAME PRO TVs promise discreet integration in the living room thanks to their ability to transform into a true art gallery. Their anti-glare matte screens and interchangeable frames allow them to blend in perfectly with the room’s decor, like a picture hanging on the wall. Magnetic frames, available in a range of finishes, make it easy to customize the look of your TV to match your interior design.

To set itself apart, TCL goes further than Samsung’s art catalog. While the Korean giant offers an art gallery via a paid subscription, TCL provides access to its art library completely free of charge. This includes collections from prestigious partnerships, such as The National Gallery in London. In addition to the works available, users can also display their own creations, personalizing their TV even further.

Superior sound immersion
Available in 55, 65 and 75-inch formats, the TCL NXTFRAMEs adopt the same 4K QLED panel. The only difference lies in the audio section. TCL has collaborated with Bang & Olufsen to equip the NXTFRAME Pro version with a 3.1.2-channel audio system. This model includes a soundbar and subwoofer specially designed by the Danish brand, guaranteeing an immersive sound experience. The audio system is optimized for movies, music and even video games, with Dolby Atmos compatibility. This collaboration with B&O gives TCL a decisive advantage over its rival Samsung, whose soundbars are offered as optional extras.

UHD 4K HDR and gaming features
Featuring a matte VA panel with edge LED backlighting, these TVs avoid reflections to effectively simulate a real canvas. They offer Ultra HD 4K resolution, enhanced by a Quantum Dot filter for more precise, vivid color reproduction. As for video formats, the NXTFRAMEs are compatible with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. Image processing is handled by the powerful AIPQ Pro processor, which optimizes visual quality in real time. Thanks to a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, these TVs will also appeal to video game enthusiasts, particularly those using the latest-generation consoles such as the PS5 or Xbox Series. What’s more, TCL has announced a latency time of just 13.9 ms in Ultra HD at 60Hz, a considerable advantage for gamers. Finally, the HDMI 2.1 inputs support VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) to limit latency.

Accessories and modularity
TCL offers several mounting solutions to suit every configuration. In addition to traditional wall mounting, a mobile stand with wheels is available as an option for those who prefer to avoid fixing their TV on the wall. A base is also available, offering great flexibility for integrating this Lifestyle TV into a living room or bedroom. These various solutions are also designed to accommodate the Bang & Olufsen soundbar.

A serious competitor for Samsung
As usual, TCL is offering this new range at competitive prices. The standard TCL NXTFRAME model (without the B&O sound system) will be priced at €1,299 for the 55″, €1,699 for the 65″ and €2,599 for the 75″. The Pro version with B&O soundbar will be offered in the same sizes, starting at €1,599. These two new models will go on sale in the coming months.
