The 2024 Paris Audio Video Show is a must-attend event for audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts alike. This year, the patron is Éric Serra and the show will focus on the link between music and cinema! Éric Serra, musician and composer, is the sponsor of the Paris Audio Video Show 2024. The artist is renowned for his work on film scores, including numerous collaborations with Luc Besson. His credits include the soundtracks to feature films such as The Big Blue, Léon: The Professional and The Fifth Element.
With orchestral, electronic and experimental influences, Éric Serra’s music has left its mark on an entire generation. His unique approach to composition gives his works an immersive, unforgettable dimension. Accompanied by Olivier Cachin, the artist will share his experience and vision in an exclusive interview on the amphitheatre stage.
The Paris Audio Video Show will also be an opportunity to rediscover the soundtrack to the film The Big Blue in a whole new light, with a never-before-heard Dolby Atmos mix by Éric Serra himself. The ONSTAGE show at PAVS 2024
Hosted by PP Garcia, ONSTAGE will feature interviews and product launches. Journalist Jean-Marie Hubert, a specialist in image and sound, will also host a discussion panel alongside other experts. This event, open to the public, will be an opportunity to discover the latest trends in hi-fi and home theater. The venue will be equipped with Storm Audio and Elipson equipment, so you can enjoy all the entertainment in the best possible conditions.
This stage will also host concerts throughout the weekend. On Saturday October 26, Sandrine Quétier will present her debut album Hard to Follow. Available since March 29, this first musical project marks a change in the ex-host’s career. Resolutely rock-focused, the concert should surprise the audience. Swords, meanwhile, will pay tribute to Toto on Sunday, October 27, with a concert of covers of the iconic American band’s best songs.
Workshops, guided tours and the biggest brands
Yamaha will also be offering workshops for beginners. Organized in small groups, these will enable participants to try their hand at a variety of instruments, including guitar, keyboards and drums, under the supervision of experts. These workshops will run from 10.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and must be booked in advance.
To discover the world of hi-fi and home theater, the SV Tours, initiated by Son-vidéo.com and SonoVente.com, will offer guided tours of the show. Accompanied by experts, participants will discover the must-see stands and receive detailed explanations of the new products on display. These tours will be organized throughout the event, offering an enriching experience for those wishing to deepen their understanding of the exhibited equipment.
Over three hundred brands will be on hand all weekend to present their new products. JBL, Focal, Audioquest, Cabasse, Denon, B&O, Elipson… The leading hi-fi and home theater manufacturers will be opening their stands for unforgettable listening sessions and experiences.
