To mark its 60th anniversary, Technics, established in 1965, has unveiled its new EAH-AZ100 True Wireless earbuds at CES 2025. These models promise a premium listening experience thanks to the integration of magnetic fluid transducers. In addition to their compact design and superior comfort, they celebrate six decades of audio excellence with cutting-edge technologies such as Dolby Atmos spatial audio with head-tracking, latest-generation ANC, as well as the Voice Focus AI mode for crystal-clear calls.
State-of-the-art magnetic fluid transducers
Following on from the excellent EAH-AZ60E, EAH-AZ40M2 and EAH-AZ80 models, the Technics EAH-AZ100 True Wireless earbuds promise even more accurate and immersive sound. This is due in particular to their Magnetic Fluid Drivers, formerly made of aluminum alloy on previous models. This technology guarantees highly accurate bass and a sound reproduction that remains true to the original recording. Initially developed for the EAH-TZ700 wired earbuds, these miniaturized transducers now feature an aluminum diaphragm and an ultra-thin free edge to adapt to these new wireless earbuds.
Technics also integrates compatibility with Dolby Atmos spatial audio, for 360-degree immersion. Dolby head tracking recalibrates sound in real time according to the listener’s movements, placing them at the heart of the experience.
Perfect calls with Voice Focus AI
The Japanese manufacturer also responds to user’s communication needs with “Voice Focus AI” technology. This system combines three microphones per earbud, adaptive noise cancelling and advanced artificial intelligence to optimize call clarity. Each conversation is adjusted to deliver optimum quality, even in the noisiest environments.
Advanced connectivity and superior comfort
The Technics EAH-AZ100 wireless earbuds are equipped with Bluetooth LE Audio technology, offering reduced latency and the ability to share audio via Auracast. Compatible with Google Fast Pair, they enable instant synchronization with Android devices, while the Technics Audio Connect app simplifies customization of sound preferences.
Technics has not forgotten user comfort. These new earphones are the lightest and most compact ever created by the brand, with eartips to suit all users, thanks to a new “ML” size. Qi wireless charging, an autonomy of up to 28 hours with the case and multipoint connectivity with up to three devices make these earbuds as practical as they are effective.
The Technics EAH-AZ100 True Wireless earbuds will be available in February 2025 for €299, in black or silver.
