Nearly a decade after the launch of the Elipson Prestige Facet series, the French manufacturer is renewing this iconic line with the new generation, christened Prestige Facet II. With an aesthetic makeover, internal optimization and improved acoustic performance, Elipson aims to reassert its expertise and make this range even more popular.

Between heritage and modernity

Launched in 2016, the first-generation Prestige Facet marked a turning point in Elipson’s catalog. Combining a minimalist design with tried-and-tested technologies, it offered a comprehensive solution for music and cinema lovers alike, with a consistent aesthetic across all formats (bookshelf, floorstander, center, Atmos, LCR). This visual signature was based in particular on the famous silicone facet rings surrounding each driver, reducing diffraction and softening the high-frequency response. The new Prestige Facet II range follows in these footsteps, but with a clear determination to do even better, in every respect. With this in mind, Elipson has made a series of technical and aesthetic improvements, without erasing the DNA of the series.

The new Prestige Facet II range extends Elipson’s heritage by modernizing an already iconic series to deliver even greater hi-fi and home theater performance.

Aesthetics for integration

The first visible change is the finish of the front of the speaker. This new glossy look is even more refined and more suited to contemporary interiors. The cabinets are still available in walnut and black, matte black and matte white, for perfect integration in any decor. The floorstanding speakers (14F, 24F and 34F) feature new decoupling feet. Slimmer and more elegant, they offer enhanced stability while helping to limit mechanical vibrations.

The most notable, though less visible, evolution is to be found inside the cabinets. Elipson has completely redesigned the internal structure of its speakers. The integration of a new mechanical reinforcement, with a redesigned structure, increases the overall rigidity of the speaker and provides better control of resonance generated by the drivers, particularly in the bass. The aim is to provide a more inert mechanical base, capable of reproducing the signal with greater precision, while improving the dynamics and purity of the sound. This is particularly noticeable in the floorstanding models, which use several woofers in large internal volumes.

Refined finishes, reinforced cabinets and redesigned feet: the Elipson Prestige Facet II range combines exterior elegance and acoustic rigor for optimum integration and enhanced performance.

A redesigned passive crossover

Beyond the cabinet, Elipson has also redesigned the passive crossover on all models in the range. It now incorporates high-quality audiophile components: polypropylene film capacitors, metal-film resistors and low-resistivity inductors. These components provide clearer decoupling between frequency ranges, with better linearity and a more coherent soundstage. The result is clearer vocals and more precise spatialization, in both stereo and multichannel configurations.

Last but not least, the internal wiring has been optimized. All models in the Prestige Facet II range are now wired using 2.25mm² OFC copper. This guarantees better signal conductivity between the crossover and drivers, while minimizing induced losses and distortion. This meticulous wiring contributes to improved dynamics, micro-details and overall balance, particularly in the upper end of the spectrum.

Thanks to completely redesigned crossovers and internal OFC copper wiring, the Prestige Facet II range boasts greater clarity, dynamics and precision across the entire spectrum.

A range that’s as comprehensive as ever

Like its predecessor, the Prestige Facet II series includes a wide range of models to meet all hi-fi and home theater needs.

Bookshelf models: 6B and 8B

The range begins with two bookshelf speakers: the Elipson Prestige Facet II 6B and 8B. Designed for listening in offices or living rooms of up to 25m2, they retain their 2-way architecture with a 5.5 or 6.7 inch midbass driver, depending on the version. Despite their size, they offer a fine tonal balance, with a precise sound image and well-maintained bass. They are equally well suited to a discreet stereo configuration or to surround sound in a multichannel system.

The Elipson Prestige Facet II 6B and 8B bookshelf speakers are the ideal way to enjoy quality sound with a small footprint.

The floorstanders: 14F, 24F and 34F

The trio of floorstanders is the heart of the range. The Prestige Facet II 14F, the slimmest of the three, is aimed at those with limited space who still want to enjoy a good sound reproduction. The larger 24F is equipped with an additional low frequency driver, enabling it to descend further down the spectrum and better fill large spaces.

Finally, the 34F is the pinnacle of the series, with two 10″ woofers and two midrange drivers. This is the ideal model for lovers of powerful bass and a no-compromise listening experience. It combines power, finesse and fullness in a remarkable way, especially when well matched.

The brand’s flagship model, the Elipson Prestige Facet II 34F, is guaranteed to provide a thrilling experience, thanks to its dual 10-inch woofer.

Center speakers: 11C and 14C

For home theater installations, two center speakers are available. The more compact 11C is ideal for small and medium-sized rooms. The larger 14C features two 6.7″ midbass drivers for an even more intelligible, articulate vocal reproduction. It blends naturally with the other speakers in the range for optimum tonal coherence.

Designed for dialogue clarity, the 11C and 14C center speakers ensure perfect homogeneity with the rest of the range, so you can plunge into the heart of the action with great realism.

Atmos and LCR speakers

Always attentive to developments in the world of home theater, Elipson also offers the Prestige Facet II 6 ATM, a Dolby Atmos-certified speaker designed to be placed on a floorstanding speaker, or mounted high up on a wall. It adds a vertical dimension to immersive soundtracks.

The Elipson Prestige Facet II 6 ATM speaker reproduces the vertical effects of Dolby Atmos or DTS:X tracks by reflection on the ceiling or by being mounted at the top of the wall.

The latter is joined by the Facet II 14LCR, a speaker with a variable position (left, center or right), which can be wall-mounted vertically or horizontally. It’s an ideal solution for architectural installations, where space or aesthetics limit the use of conventional speakers.
