After several years’ absence from the Bluetooth noise-canceling headphones segment, FiiO is set to launch the EH13 and EH15, two wireless over-ear models previewed at the CANJAM trade show in Dubai. This return marks an important step for the Chinese manufacturer, who seems to have learned the lessons of its previous attempts. So, what do these new Bluetooth headphones really offer?

With the EH13 and EH15, FiiO is taking a more pragmatic and focused approach, breaking with that of the EH3NC, their first noise-cancelling Bluetooth headphones launched in 2017. That model, technically ambitious but complex to finalize, suffered from unclear positioning. This time, the brand is back with better-defined models, designed to meet the current expectations of hi-fi enthusiasts.

Two very different styles of headphones

The EH13 stand out for their foldable design, facilitating on-the-go use, and for the integration of features that have become indispensable: active noise cancelling, LDAC compatibility for high-resolution audio streams, and parametric equalization (PEQ) adjustable via a mobile app. Their aim is to offer a high-quality, accessible sound experience, with an acoustic signature inspired by the brand’s hi-fi expertise.

The FiiO EH13 is all about simplicity and sound quality. Its foldable design, active noise reduction and LDAC compatibility make these portable Bluetooth headphones well suited to the expectations of hi-fi enthusiasts.

The EH15, meanwhile, are based on the aesthetics of the iconic FT1 wired model, integrating Bluetooth connectivity and active noise cancelling. They keep the black American walnut ear cups, a rare finish in the world of wireless headphones. The headband, now foldable, ensures greater compactness. The objective is clear: to offer circum-aural wireless headphones that combine a high-end finish, extended comfort, and faithful sound reproduction in a transportable format. No visuals or further information is available, as their release is scheduled for July 2026.

Strategic diversification at work

The EH13 and EH15 are part of FiiO’s broader Bluetooth headphone strategy. The brand is also planning a retro on-ear model, the more experimental EH11. The latter represents a technical challenge, particularly in terms of active noise reduction, but also illustrates FiiO’s desire to explore new formats while remaining true to its audiophile DNA.

With the EH11, FiiO signs the return of an on-ear format with a vintage look. A daring technical gamble, blending retro style with today’s audio technologies.

Alongside this push into wireless headphones, FiiO is accelerating its diversification into traditional hi-fi. The Chinese brand is taking a new step forward with the 2026 launch of its first passive hi-fi speakers, the SV13, as well as a tube amplifier, the FiiO EA13.

This foray into traditional hi-fi marks a natural extension of FiiO’s work in recent years on desktop audio, a segment in which the brand is stepping up a gear in 2026.

Despite this diversification, FiiO continues to actively innovate in its original field: portable audio. The new FiiO M33 R2R, presented at CES 2026, illustrates this dynamic.

These new products complete a broader strategy, in which FiiO is gradually building a genuine hi-fi ecosystem, combining portable, desktop and home hi-fi.
