Unveiled for the first time at the 2026 High End show in Vienna, the EverSolo AMP-F8 power amplifier is finally set to make its way into listening rooms. Pre-orders are now open, and its complete technical specifications provide a clearer picture of where this new EverSolo power amplifier fits in the lineup. Key features include: Class AB amplification with Class A bias on the first few watts, an 800-watt linear power supply, 2 x 180 watts of power into 8 ohms, and mono operation up to 500 watts.
The perfect companion for the EverSolo DMP-A8 Gen 2
The EverSolo AMP-F8 was unveiled alongside several major new products from the brand, including the DMP-A8 Gen 2 and DMP-A8 Master Edition Gen 2 network players, the T10 digital transport, the DAC-R8 R2R DAC, and the SA200 integrated amplifier. This presentation offered a first glimpse of the new generation of electronics with which EverSolo aims to build a truly comprehensive hi-fi ecosystem.

The new EverSolo AMP-F8 power amplifier is specifically designed to complement the DMP-A8 Gen 2. Its size, design, and acoustic characteristics have been tailored to these preamplified network players to create a cohesive system that is both aesthetically and functionally harmonious. The DMP-A8 Gen 2 units can therefore centralize source management, streaming, digital-to-analog conversion, and volume control, while the AMP-F8 is dedicated exclusively to powering the speakers. Naturally, its RCA and XLR inputs allow for integration with any other hi-fi preamplifier or AV receiver equipped with a pre-out.

Class A and AB amplification
The EverSolo AMP-F8 power amplifier features a Class AB amplification architecture with Class A bias at low power. At moderate volume levels, the output transistors operate in their most linear region to minimize switching noise and preserve the subtlest variations in the signal. When the speakers demand more current, the amplifier gradually transitions to Class AB. This hybrid design aims to combine the finesse and richness typically associated with Class A with the power, efficiency, and dynamic headroom of Class AB amplification. The EverSolo AMP-F8 can therefore maintain a precise sound reproduction at low volume while responding vigorously to the most demanding tracks.

Up to 2 x 280 W into 4 ohms
The full specifications now released confirm an output of 2 x 180 W into 8 ohms. This increases to 2 x 280 W into 4 ohms, demonstrating significant current capacity as speaker impedance decreases. The EverSolo AMP-F8 should therefore be able to power both bookshelf speakers and large floorstanding speakers equipped with multiple drivers. The amplifier can also operate in mono-bridge mode. In this mode, the two channels are combined to deliver up to 500 W into 8 ohms.

To ensure this increased power output, the EverSolo AMP-F8 features a linear power supply based on a toroidal transformer developed specifically for this model. Its capacity reaches 800 W, providing a sufficiently large power reserve to respond instantly to dynamic variations in the musical signal.
EverSolo complements this system with an integrated DC-blocking circuit. This DC blocker filters out the DC components that are sometimes present in the electrical grid before they reach the transformer. It helps limit core saturation and the resulting physical vibrations, thereby ensuring quieter operation.
Dual analog VU meter
Aesthetically, the EverSolo AMP-F8 echoes the clean lines of the other Series 8 electronics. Its front panel is dominated by two large backlit analog VU meters that display the output levels of the left and right channels in real time. This classic element adds a retro touch to a chassis with a very contemporary silhouette.
The sides feature large fins designed to dissipate the heat generated by the power transistors, particularly when the amplifier is operating in Class A at low levels. The unit measures 388 mm wide by 265 mm deep by 119 mm high. With a net weight of 15.9 kg, the AMP-F8 remains more compact than the flagship AMP-F10 while retaining a particularly robust build.

Price and availability of the EverSolo AMP-F8
After several weeks of anticipation since its unveiling at the High End show in Vienna, the EverSolo AMP-F8 is now available for pre-order on Son-Vidéo.com for €1,800. The first shipments are expected sometime in September 2026.
