Panasonic is renewing its TV catalog in 2026 amid unique circumstances. Since April 1, 2026, the Japanese manufacturer has been relying on a strategic partnership with Chinese giant Skyworth for its TV business in Europe and North America. Skyworth contributes its manufacturing capabilities and distribution network, while Panasonic retains its audiovisual expertise and quality control. This new model is intended to strengthen the competitiveness of the company’s TV branch in a particularly competitive market.
The 2026 catalog features four new LCD series, ranging from the QLED W80C to the QD-Mini LED W90C, W92C, and W95C. The Z90B and Z95B OLED TVs launched in 2025 will remain in the catalog throughout 2026, pending the release of a new generation of OLED TVs scheduled for 2027. The new models presented here will be available by the end of 2026. Panasonic will announce their prices very soon.
Panasonic W95C: the 144 Hz QD-Mini LED at the top of the range
The W95C series (also known as the W97C in its silver version) sits at the top of Panasonic’s new LCD lineup. It features a 4K QD-Mini LED panel combined with the Dynamic Local Dimming Ultra system and the 4K Color Engine Ultra AI processing. Panasonic has also added its Glare Free Ultra feature, designed to minimize light reflections on the screen. During our visit to the Panasonic booth, this anti-glare treatment proved highly effective at eliminating virtually all distracting reflections caused by the numerous ambient light sources.
The catalog includes four screen sizes: 55, 65, 75, and 86 inches (up to 218 cm).
The panel operates at 144 Hz and supports VRR up to that frequency, as well as AMD FreeSync Premium technology. Game Mode Extreme and HDMI 2.1 features are designed for consoles and PCs capable of delivering high frame rates. For movies, the TV supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG HDR formats, and also features Filmmaker Mode.
The Panasonic W95C series also stands out for its 80 watt 4.1 channel audio system, which is compatible with Dolby Atmos and Theater Surround 360°. Google TV serves as its smart TV interface, featuring Chromecast for wirelessly streaming content from a smartphone to the TV, and Google Assistant for voice control.
Panasonic W92C and W90C: two QD-Mini LED models
The W92C series retains many of the home theater and gaming features of the W95C. Available in 55″, 65″, and 75″ sizes, it combines a 144 Hz QD-Mini LED panel, Local Dimming Ultra backlighting, Glare Free Ultra filter, and the AI 4K Color Engine Pro processor. It also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HLG, Filmmaker Mode, VRR up to 144 Hz, and AMD FreeSync Premium. The audio system features a 50 watt 2.1 channel setup with a subwoofer and Dolby Atmos.
The W90C series, meanwhile, represents the entry-level tier of the QD-Mini LED range. Its three sizes(55, 65, and 75 inches) all feature Glare Free Ultra technology and the Google TV software interface. The panel operates at 60 Hz with an HSR mode capable of reaching up to 120 Hz. Panasonic pairs this screen with Local Dimming Supreme backlighting and the 4K Color Engine AI processor. The stereo audio system delivers 30 W of power and remains Dolby Atmos compatible.
Panasonic W80C: QLED, Fire TV, and five screen sizes
Positioned lower in the 2026 series, the W80C features a 4K Vivid QLED+ panel. The series includes five screen sizes, ranging from 43 to 75 inches. The 55″, 65″, and 75″ models feature the Glare Free Max treatment and an HSR mode up to 120 Hz, while the 43″ and 50″ versions operate at 60 Hz with an anti-glare coating called Glare Free Pro.
This TV range supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HLG HDR formats, as well as Filmmaker Mode. Panasonic has chosen Fire TV as the smart TV platform, along with Alexa and Apple AirPlay. There are three HDMI inputs, with eARC, ALLM, and VRR support. Audio output reaches 30 W on the 65 and 75 inch models, while other sizes are limited to 20 W; the entire series supports Dolby Atmos.
