The Sonus Faber Lumina speaker range has been extended with two new models: the Sonus Faber Lumina II bookshelf speakers and the impressive Sonus Faber Lumina V floorstanding speakers.
The Sonus Faber Lumina speaker range is the most affordable of the Italian manufacturer, renowned worldwide for its luxurious productions featuring leather and wood cabinets. The Italian manufacturer has chosen to name this speaker range Lumina, composed of the first two letters of the words Luxury, Minimalism and Natural, which describe the speakers perfectly.
The brand’s DNA is present in this Sonus Faber Lumina speaker range, with simple and elegant lines and the use of luxurious materials (real wood and leather cabinet). Technically, these speakers also benefit from the expertise of the Italian engineers, who have equipped them with a tweeter featuring the proprietary DAD (Damped Apex Dome) technology found on all Sonus Faber speakers. The midrange and bass drivers are for their part derived from those used in the Sonus Faber Sonetto speaker range, with natural fiber and cellulose cones that are renowned for their natural timbre.
The speakers of the Sonus Faber Lumina range are suitable for stereo use in a hi-fi installation as well as for home theater use. For home theater, it is recommended to use the Lumina III or Lumina V floorstanding speakers at the front and the Lumina I or Lumina II bookshelf speakers as surround speakers, although the latter can also act as front left and right speakers.
