At IFA 2023, the Panasonic and Technics stand was in a separate pavilion, away from all the other exhibitors. The two brands had an understated display for their main TV and electronics ranges, far from the hustle and bustle of the show’s aisles.

IFA 2023: Panasonic MZ2000 OLED TV
At the Panasonic stand, the new Panasonic MZ2000 4K OLED TV range was in the spotlight. Highly-anticipated by movie lovers, it features LG Display’s new Meta OLED panel (except for the 77″ model with its Ex OLED panel), with even greater brightness. However, the Japanese manufacturer is not participating in the race to provide the most nits, instead preferring to focus on colorimetric accuracy and image realism. Like every year, the panel is calibrated with the help of renowned colorists working for the biggest Hollywood studios.

The Technics audio section is further strengthened by the diffusion of sound over 4.1.2 channels, for even greater immersion. The soundbar integrated under the screen is accompanied by side drivers for surround effects and vertical drivers for Atmos effects. A dedicated low-frequency driver is also present on the back of the screen.

The Panasonic MZ1500 and Panasonic MZ800 OLED ranges were also present, as were several LED TV series such as the Panasonic MX700. Note that the Panasonic MZ1500 OLED range is now equipped with a genuine Dolby Atmos soundbar by Technics (55″ and 65″ only).

IFA 2023: Technics
Technics, the group’s hi-fi branch, was also represented with the iconic Technics SL-1500C turntable, the Technics SA-C600 all-in-one stereo amp, as well as the Technics SB-C600E-K bookshelf speakers and the Technics SC-C70 MK2 connected stereo system.

Portable audio was represented by the Technics EAH-AZ40M2 and Technics EAH-AZ60M2 True Wireless earbuds, as well as the top-of-the-range Technics EAH-AZ80 models acclaimed by the trade press.

The Technics EAH-A800 Bluetooth headphones were also featured on the stand, presented in two colors: black and silver.
Panasonic and Technics didn’t create a buzz at IFA 2023, preferring to capitalize on the TVs and electronics that made them successful in 2023. The highlight of the show was the presentation of the Panasonic MZ2000 OLED TVs, the manufacturer’s future bestsellers, available from the end of September on Son-Vidéo.com, starting at €2,990.
