For Paris Design Week, held from September 13 to 17, Bang & Olufsen opened a pop-up space dedicated to design and high-fidelity. A way of highlighting the manufacturer’s historic work on the aesthetics of its hi-fi equipment.
In the heart of the Marais district, in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, Bang & Olufsen set up a pop-up exhibit that paid tribute to the design of its equipment. A pioneer in the art of designing unique devices, the Danish brand took advantage of Paris Design Week to highlight the close connection it maintains between beauty and high-fidelity.

A unique connection between design and hi-fi
For 5 days, design enthusiasts were able to rediscover a selection of iconic B&O pieces from an unprecedented angle. Through an installation centered on the exploration of materials and design, Bang & Olufsen invited the curious to embark on the creative process followed by its teams when designing its iconic speakers. Audiophiles and lovers of beautiful objects had the opportunity to enjoy unique musical and creative experiences.
Bang & Olufsen, a manufacturer committed to environmentally sustainable design, also took advantage of the event to run workshops on the theme of longevity. Mads Kogsgaard, responsible for product circularity within the Danish teams, led an interactive workshop designed to raise audiophiles’ awareness of the work the brand has been doing in this direction for several years.
5 days of events
To demonstrate its expertise, the Scandinavian brand also offered several workshops. Bang & Olufsen allowed visitors to experience the film Babylon on a 5.1 home theater system featuring the Beovision Harmony 8K TV as well as the Beolab 50 and Beolab 28 floorstanding speakers, offering a unique blend of cinema and high-fidelity.
RIISE studios also participated, offering introductory yoga sessions. Inspired by vinyasa yoga, they were centered on sound and well-being and incorporated the Bang & Olufsen Beosound A5 portable Bluetooth speaker, the brand’s latest portable model. Finally, Daft Punk’s iconic album Random Access Memories was played through B&O Beolab 50 floorstanding speakers.
For 5 days, Bang & Olufsen reiterated its commitment to sound, design and craftsmanship. Always in search of acoustic excellence, the Danish manufacturer reaffirmed its ability to think outside the box and push the boundaries of imagination and design.
