After surprising us with the launch of its Hisense HT Saturn home theater system, a competitor to the Sony Bravia Theater Quad, Hisense took advantage of the IFA to unveil its new image products. The latest compact 4K laser projectors and the new Lifestyle TV range almost made us forget the the imminent launch of the world’s brightest Mini LED TV: a 110″ giant unveiled at CES 2024!
Hisense PX3-Pro: the best 4K UST 2024 laser projector!
We no longer need to introduce the Hisense PX3-Pro, the ultra-short-throw projector presented by PP Garcia and tested on this blog! It featured prominently on the Hisense stand, much to the delight of visitors to the show.
This Hisense projector projects a very large image, from 2 to 3.8m across, just a few dozen centimetres from the wall or screen. Its TriChroma laser lamp (triple laser, 3,000 lumens), a technology developed by the Chinese brand, enables it to cover the entire BT.2020 color space, projecting an extremely realistic image with rich, natural colors.

While HDR10, HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision are supported for the image, the audio section hasn’t been overlooked, as the projector’s integrated soundbar is Dolby Atmos compatible.
With HDMI connectivity for 3D, 60Hz 4K and 240Hz FHD as well as ARC/eARC, an Xbox certification for gaming and comprehensive smart TV functions, the Hisense PX3-Pro is an ideal replacement for the TV in the bedroom or living room, for projecting onto a white wall or, ideally, onto an ALR projection screen.
The Hisense PX3-Pro is already on sale for €3,290.
Hisense C2: a whole range to complement the Hisense C1!
Praised by the trade press and rated 4.8/5 by customer reviews on Son-Vidéo.com, the Hisense C1 impressed us with its precision, rich colors and dual support for HDR10+ and Dolby Vision content during our review.
To give those wishing to acquire a compact UHD 4K laser projector even more choice, Hisense has unveiled a range of three projectors to accompany the C1. The most noticeable change is immediately perceptible, and concerns the design: all three references adopt a 360° swivel base on which the projector can pivot vertically to project onto a wall or ceiling.
The three C2, C2 Pro and C2 Ultra models share the DLP-DMD XPR 4K projection technology (wobulation) with a TriChroma laser lamp and automatic image adjustment, already featured on the C1. The manufacturer claims a projected image size of between 65″/164cm and 300″/7.6m. All three support Dolby Vision and HDR10+ image formats, as well as Filmmaker mode. Their JBL audio section is Dolby Atmos compatible.

Connectors include two 3D and 60Hz 4K compatible HDMI 2.1 ports, one of which supports the eARC audio return channel. Two USB-A multimedia ports, an Ethernet port, an optical digital audio output and a mini-jack analog audio output are also included. Finally, all these projectors integrate the Vidaa Smart TV interface, with access to various streaming services.
The extended range brings several improvements in image and sound.
The Hisense C2 has a digital zoom, 2,000 lumens of brightness and a contrast ratio of 2,000:1. It will go on sale in December for €2,199.
The Hisense C2 Pro boasts a true optical zoom, 2,600 lumens of brightness and is IMAX Enhanced certified, which means it supports DTS:X audio format. It goes on sale in November for €2,699.

As for the Hisense C2 Ultra, it takes the C2 Pro’s strengths and pushes them even further towards excellence. Its brightness reaches 3,000 lumens, and its audio section incorporates a subwoofer, positioned in the base of the stand. The Hisense C2 Ultra’s 2.1-channel audio system thus boasts a total power output of 50 watts. Last but not least, the flagship of the Hisense C2 range benefits from the Xbox certification with an ALLM function to guarantee optimum responsiveness in video games (12ms input lag). Expected to be released in October, it will retail for €3,199.

The Lifestyle TV concept is definitely on a roll! The Chinese manufacturer has unveiled its vision of a TV that can be hung on the wall like a painting, christened Hisense Canvas TV. Based on the same principle as the Samsung The Frame and TCL NXT FRAME TV, it offers a choice of frames to personalize the screen.

The latter features a matte, anti-glare QLED panel in UHD definition, compatible with 144Hz 4K for gaming and Dolby Vision for enhanced movie viewing. The audio section boasts 36 watts of amplification and DTS Virtual:X sound spatialization technology.
