Samsung presented several innovations and flagship products at IFA 2024, including The Premiere SP-LPU9D and SP-LPU7D ultra-short-throw projectors, which promise a true 4K cinema experience with Dolby Atmos sound at home. The brand also exhibited its Odyssey Neo G9 and OLED G6 gaming monitors, offering exceptional performance thanks to high refresh rates and FreeSync and G-Sync technologies. The Lifestyle ranges, with The Frame and the Music Frame speaker, impressed with their design and advanced features. Finally, the manufacturer confirmed its interest in MicroLED technology by presenting various prototypes.

Samsung The Premiere: ultra-short-throw according to Samsung

Samsung took advantage of IFA 2024 to unveil its new ultra-short-throw projectors, the Samsung The Premiere SP-LPU9D and Samsung The Premiere SP-LPU7D. These laser projectors offer a true home cinema experience, transforming any space into a movie theater with 4K UHD definition and immersive Dolby Atmos sound. They are the successors to the excellent Samsung The Premiere LSP7T and Samsung The Premiere SP-LSP9TFA, offering more brightness and incorporating the latest AI-boosted image processing from the Korean manufacturer.

The Samsung The Premiere 9 is equipped with a triple-laser lamp and the Samsung The Premiere 7 with a mono-laser lamp, to guarantee accurate colors and ensure image projection of up to 130 inches for the 9 model and 120 inches for the 7 model. Brightness, which reaches 3,450 ISO lumens for the Samsung The Premiere 9 and 2,500 lumens for the Samsung The Premiere 7, guarantees a dynamic image, even in bright rooms. Samsung has also added artificial intelligence features, such as AI Upscaling 4K and Vision Booster, which optimize image clarity and automatically adjust brightness according to ambient lighting conditions. On top of this, both projectors are Dolby Atmos compatible, with Samsung The Premiere 9 even incorporating vertical drivers (2.2.2-channel system) to guarantee an immersive sound experience, without additional equipment.

The Samsung The Premiere SP-LPU9D and the Samsung The Premiere SP-LPU7D take up the aesthetic codes of the previous-generation Samsung The Premiere projectors, with rounded lines and an attractive fabric front panel.

These new-generation Samsung The Premiere projectors run on Tizen OS, Samsung’s operating system. They offer access to a wide selection of streaming services and a catalog of video games via the Gaming Hub, without the need for a console. They also integrate the TV apps of the four French Internet operators, so you can access your favorite TV services without having to connect the set-top box to the projector.

Samsung’s The Premiere 7 and 9 projectors natively integrate the Gaming Hub, so you can stream and play video games directly, without a console or PC.

Their minimalist, creamy-white design with a Kvadrat fabric finish blends perfectly into any interior, while their ease of installation makes for quick, effortless use.

Available from October 2, these Samsung The Premiere projectors can already be pre-ordered on Son-Vidéo.com, priced at €3,390 for the Samsung The Premiere SP-LPU7D and €5,690 for the Samsung The Premiere SP-LPU9D.

The Frame Lifestyle TVs and speakers
