Streamer king EverSolo has updated its best-selling EverSolo DMP-A6 with the new EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 network player. This second-generation model offers a complete overhaul of its predecessor, with a linear power supply, fully balanced circuit architecture, dual high-precision clocks and an enhanced processing controller for even greater musical performance.
Iconic design
The new EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 network player keeps the modern design and extensive range of features that made its multi-award-winning predecessor, the EverSolo DMP-A6, such a success. Among its assets is the large 6-inch (15cm) touchscreen, the model’s signature feature. It offers smooth, intuitive navigation through the many apps of its Android operating system. The latter allows you to install the majority of streaming services, such as Tidal, Qobuz, HighRes Audio, Amazon Music, Spotify, Deezer, Napster, and many others. In addition, the EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 also offers DLNA, Roon and Bluetooth streaming.
Linear power supply
To perfect its flagship streamer, EverSolo has equipped this second generation with an ultra-low-noise linear power supply that provides a cleaner, more stable power source to the various audio circuits. The latter, still fully balanced, use a dual ESS ES9038 Q2M DAC for separate conversion of left and right channels, thus eliminating interference. Two precision clocks ensure correct data addressing to limit jitter, while the new Xmos controller offers considerably enhanced processing power. As a result, the new EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 promises even more accurate playback of Hi-Res music up to a very high resolution of 32-bit/768kHz, as well as DSD files up to DSD512.
HDMI ARC input
The new EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 streamer keeps its predecessor’s already comprehensive range of connectors, while adding an HDMI ARC port to easily connect a TV. A trigger output has also been added to automatically switch an amplifier or power amp on and off. Finally, there are coaxial and optical inputs, as well as two USB-A ports. The latter let you connect an external storage device, as well as a USB CD player to rip a CD collection. The RCA and XLR outputs remain at fixed or variable levels, allowing this streamer to be used both as a source and as preamplifier.

The new EverSolo DMP-A6 Gen 2 network player is now available to pre-order on Son-Vidéo.com, priced at €890. First deliveries are scheduled for late January 2025.
