With the Headphone (1) Pro, Nothing is taking its over-ear headphones in a significantly more technical direction. This model features a three-transducer design, Hi-Res wired audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz via USB-C, active noise cancelling with ten microphones, and several tuning tools developed in collaboration with Metropolis Studios. The transparent design remains, but the real action takes place inside the ear cups.

Titanium, aluminum, and glass for a more refined design
The new Nothing Headphone (1) Pro embodies the London-based brand’s design language, which is based on transparency and showcasing components. The shells reveal part of the internal structure, including certain acoustic elements. This approach gives the product an instantly recognizable identity in a market dominated by more conventional designs.

The brand is upgrading the finish with higher-quality materials. Metal and glass contribute to the headphones’ premium positioning, while the frame is made of a titanium alloy. The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro Bluetooth headphones weigh 327 g and are available in white and black. A hard carrying case, lined with soft TPU, comes with the headphones to protect them while on the go.
Three transducers to cover the entire sound spectrum
The new Nothing Headphone (1) Pro use three specialized transducers, which together cover a claimed frequency range of 20 Hz to 40 kHz. The bass is handled by a 40 mm dynamic transducer, active from 20 Hz to 10 kHz. Its surround combines PEEK and polyurethane, two materials designed to maintain control over the diaphragm’s movement. Its PET dome, featuring a metal-ceramic coating, minimizes distortion at high volume.

A 13 x 8 mm precision dynamic transducer takes over from 5 to 15 kHz. Its PEN (polyethylene naphthalate) diaphragm is designed to deliver a more stable reproduction of vocals and instruments. For the extreme high frequencies, Nothing adds an xMEMS transducer with a silicon diaphragm. This solid-state component, measuring 3.2 x 6 x 1.15 mm, covers the range from 10 to 40 kHz. Silicon is said to be 95 times stiffer than plastic, which promotes fast transients and better harmonic reproduction.
Wired Hi-Res, LDAC, and Bluetooth 6.1
The headphones are Hi-Res Audio certified for both wired and wireless use. Via USB-C, the Headphone (1) Pro support lossless audio streams up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The 3.5 mm mini-jack allows for Hi-Res listening at up to 24-bit/96 kHz. When connected via Bluetooth, they support the AAC, SBC, and LDAC codecs for music.
Nothing also announces Bluetooth 6.1, the ability to connect to two devices simultaneously, and a range of 10 meters. The low-latency mode drops latency below 120 ms over Bluetooth, which is useful for gaming and videos. Via the auxiliary input, the advertised latency drops below 15 ms with the Flat EQ mode enabled.

These headphones also feature Auracast. This Broadcast Audio technology allows the Headphone (1) Pro to receive or transmit an audio stream to multiple compatible headphones. The LC3 codec is used specifically for this purpose.
Noise cancelling, equalization and spatialization
The ANC system uses ten microphones: three external and two internal on each ear cup. Their inward-facing position is designed to reduce the direct impact of wind. The algorithm adjusts the noise-cancelling in real time across three intensity levels, achieving up to 46 dB of noise reduction.
Passive isolation also contributes to the overall performance. The ear pads combine PU leather, nylon fabric, and an 8 mm silicone layer that serves a dual purpose: to better fit the contours of the ear and to minimize sound leakage.

The partnership with Metropolis Studios includes a Flat EQ, accessible via a physical switch. This mode prioritizes a neutral profile for critical listening and comparing mixes. It disables transparency, spatialization, and other EQ settings. The Nothing X app also provides access to an advanced equalizer covering the 20 Hz to 20 kHz range, as well as five presets designed for neo-jazz, British rock, UK rap and grime, electronica, and UK bass.
New global ambassador and goals
Nothing is marking the launch of the Headphone (1) Pro with V, a member of BTS, who has been named the brand’s global ambassador. This choice positions the headphones within a world where music, style, and technology converge. V has significant international visibility, particularly among a young, tech-savvy audience in Asia, Europe, and the United States.

The partnership also supports Nothing’s global strategy. Following its collaborations with Charli xcx, the brand is strengthening its ties to artists and music culture. The Headphone (1) Pro is the showcase for a more ambitious audio range, with technical specifications catered to both audiophiles seeking detailed sound and users who appreciate design.
The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro at the top of the Nothing headphone range
With the Headphone (1) Pro, Nothing rounds out its lineup of three Bluetooth headphones. The Headphone (a) is the most affordable model: it features a 40 mm dynamic transducer with a titanium-coated diaphragm, LDAC compatibility, Hi-Res Audio certification, and a claimed battery life of up to 135 hours. Its design prioritizes an energetic listening experience and long-lasting battery life.
The Headphone (1) takes it up a notch, featuring a 40 mm dynamic driver developed in partnership with KEF. These headphones feature balanced sound reproduction, LDAC compatibility, wired listening via USB-C or 3.5mm jack, and an eight-band equalizer in the Nothing X app. Their battery life can reach up to 80 hours with noise cancellation turned off.
The Headphone (1) Pro takes this foundation a step further with three transducers—including an xMEMS module for high frequencies—USB-C support up to 24-bit/192 kHz, a Flat EQ designed in collaboration with Metropolis Studios, and ANC that uses ten microphones. It is Nothing’s most ambitious model in terms of sound quality, and builds on the visual identity already established by the first two headphones.
