With its new Horizon 30 series, Xgimi is expanding its range of high-end home theatre projectors. Available in three versions—the Horizon 30 Pro, Horizon 30 Max, and Horizon 30 Ultra Max—this series combines a triple-laser RGB light source, 4K UHD resolution, and advanced features for movies and video games. The three models differ primarily in their brightness and contrast levels, with performance improving at each tier of the range. This allows you to enjoy a very large image in a living room or a home theatre.
Xgimi Horizon 30 Pro: the 4K triple-laser projector starting at €2,499

The Xgimi Horizon 30 Pro is the first model in the series and uses a 0.47-inch DLP DMD chip paired with a triple laser RGB light source. This setup delivers a claimed brightness of 4,800 ISO lumens, allowing it to project a 4K UHD image with a screen size ranging from 40 to 300 inches (102 to 762 cm) in diagonal.

The color gamut coverage reaches 110% of the BT.2020 color space, while the dual-iris system delivers a native contrast ratio of up to 8,000:1. With DBLE processing, the dynamic contrast ratio rises to 80,000:1. Together, these features deliver bright images, nuanced colors, and good visibility in dark scenes.
For movie lovers, the Horizon 30 Pro supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced, along with Filmmaker Mode and 3D compatibility. Gamers, meanwhile, can enjoy a 120Hz 4K display, VRR, and AMD FreeSync Premium, with a claimed latency of 1.9 ms at 4K and 120 Hz.
When it comes to setup, the optical zoom, horizontal and vertical lens shift, and automatic corrections make it easy to adjust the image to fit the room. Finally, Google TV provides access to streaming apps, while the two 12-watt Harman Kardon drivers deliver high-quality sound.
You can pre-order the Xgimi Horizon 30 Pro projector now on Son-Vidéo.com for €2,499.
Xgimi Horizon 30 Max: higher brightness and contrast

The Xgimi Horizon 30 Max builds on the technical architecture of the Horizon 30 Pro and enhances its image performance. Its triple RGB laser light source now delivers 5,300 ISO lumens—an increase of 500 lumens. This brightness reserve makes it easier to project onto large screens and helps maintain colour intensity in a living room with some ambient light.

The native contrast ratio has also improved to 9,000:1, up from 8,000:1 on the Pro. With DBLE processing enabled, the dynamic contrast ratio reaches 90,000:1. This improvement enhances the depth of blacks and the clarity of details in dark scenes.
The Horizon 30 Max maintains 110% BT.2020 coverage, as well as compatibility with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced. It also includes the gaming features of its smaller counterpart: 120 Hz 4K, Full HD at 240 Hz, VRR, and AMD FreeSync Premium.
Its variable throw ratio of 1.2 to 1.5:1, optical zoom, and lens shift make it easy to position the projector in front of the screen. Automatic features handle focusing, keystone correction, and obstacle avoidance. Google TV, the 24 W Harman Kardon sound system, and two 120 Hz 4K HDMI inputs round out this versatile device.
The Xgimi Horizon 30 Max projector is available for pre-order on Son-Vidéo.com for €2,799.
Xgimi Horizon 30 Ultra Max: 6,000 ISO lumens and a contrast ratio of 10,000:1

At the top of the range, the Xgimi Horizon 30 Ultra Max takes brightness and contrast to new heights. Its triple RGB laser light source delivers 6,000 ISO lumens—700 lumens more than the Max and 1,200 lumens more than the Pro. This brightness makes it particularly well-suited for large projection surfaces—up to 300 inches—as well as living rooms where ambient light is present.

Its dual iris system delivers a claimed native contrast ratio of 10,000:1, while the dynamic contrast ratio peaks at 100,000:1 with DBLE processing. Dark scenes therefore benefit from greater depth, while highlights retain more intensity.
The Horizon 30 Ultra Max retains the key features of the other two models, including 4K UHD resolution, 110% BT.2020 coverage, and compatibility with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced. Gamers will appreciate the 120 Hz 4K, VRR, and a latency as low as 1 ms in Full HD at 240 Hz.
The system features optical zoom, lens shift, and automatic adjustment functions. Last but not least, Google TV, Wi-Fi 6, two 120 Hz 4K HDMI inputs, and the 24 W Harman Kardon audio system make it a complete solution for home theatre and gaming.
The Xgimi Horizon 30 Ultra Max projector is available for pre-order on Son-Vidéo.com for €3,299.
