Sonus Faber has surprised us early this year! Less than a year after the release of the Sonus Faber Omina, its first connected speaker, the famous Italian firm has unveiled an outdoor speaker: the Sonus Faber Aster. In the pure tradition of the brand, like the Lumina and Sonetto speakers, this model has a very elegant design combined with promising sound performance.

After the Sonus Faber Omina connected speakers, the Lumina and Sonetto hi-fi speaker ranges and the premium Tradition series, the Italian firm is enriching its catalog with its first outdoor speaker. The Sonus Faber Aster takes its name from the flower. This bucolic inspiration makes it a natural choice for a terrace, a patio or the edge of a pool. Unlike the purple flower, it will be available in white and black starting next spring.

Sonus Faber Aster: a versatile speaker
IP65 certified, the Sonus Faber Aster is water and dust resistant. This outdoor speaker claims a power rating of 100 watts and a sensitivity of 88 dB. As a 2-way model, it integrates a 6″ midbass driver and a 1.6″ tweeter for the high frequencies. Two passive radiators symmetrically positioned at either end of the speaker complete the design.
For integration, the Sonus Faber Aster comes with a wall bracket. The unit tilts up to 90° on 6 levels spaced 15° apart to fit any space. Both discreet and elegant, the Sonus Faber Aster outdoor speaker is 29cm long, 20.5cm high and 19cm deep.

Winter is coming to an end and, like Focal and its Littora 200 range, manufacturers are already looking ahead to spring. During future sunny days, we will be able to enjoy a hi-fi sound in our garden peacefully lying on a deckchair.
