Launched exclusively on iOS on March 28, the Apple Music Classical app is now available on Android! The American giant’s classical music platform is available at no extra cost to Apple Music subscribers.
Apple Music Classical: what is it?
Launched towards the end of the first quarter of 2023, Apple Music Classical is a platform featuring over 5 million classical music tracks. It features the latest releases, as well as the genre’s major masterpieces. Chinese pianist Lang Lang, Khatia Buniatishvili and Renaud Capuçon cohabit in the midst of compositions by Beethoven and Elgar.

Lossless catalog
The entire Apple Music Classical catalog is available on iOS and Android devices in Lossless format up to 24-bit/192kHz. This way, music lovers can grasp every nuance of their favorite compositions. The high-resolution Lossless format delivers crisp, clear sound. What’s more, thanks to Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos, listeners are placed at the center of a totally immersive sound bubble to fully enjoy several thousand classical music titles.
Apple Music Classical available at no extra cost
Now available on iOS and Android, the Apple Music Classical app is included in the Apple Music subscription. Apple Music costs €10.99 per month after the first free month. Apple continues to develop its audio and video offer. The roll-out of Apple Music Classical for Android devices is reminiscent, for example, of the recent partnership between myCANAL and Apple TV+.
