McLaren Automotive and Bowers & Wilkins continue their collaboration to create a surround sound system at the heart of the new McLaren 750S supercar. This project follows on from their partnership that started in 2022 and the successful launch of the B&W Px8 McLaren Edition headphones.

Once again, the two brands have combined their skills to integrate a Bowers & Wilkins audio system into the latest McLaren 750S supercar.

The new 750S, McLaren’s lightest and most powerful production supercar, features a 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins car audio system. The latter are derived from Bowers & Wilkins’ award-winning 800 Diamond speakers. This highly sophisticated system incorporates the proprietary Continuum cone and the brand’s iconic central Tweeter-on-Top, as well as an all-new amplifier for incredible sonic fidelity.

The audio system features two 4″ drivers in each door and five 1″ Nautilus aluminum double-dome tweeters in the dashboard, pillars and rear. Three 3″ drivers and a pair of Rohacell dual-coil 7.9″ woofers complete the set. All this is powered by a 14-channel Class D amplifier with 1400W of power, for the most immersive sound experience.

The Bowers & Wilkins car audio system incorporates 12 speakers powered by a 1400-watt amplifier to deliver a powerful, immersive sound experience on board the McLaren 750S.
