On October 21 and 22, the 2023 Paris Audio Video Show will open its doors at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. For this event, which remains France’s biggest high fidelity and home theater trade show, Elipson has many new and exclusive releases in store. A new active speaker, a limited-edition turntable, the rebirth of an iconic model and many other surprises are expected from the French manufacturer.
Elipson W35 Xi
French specialist Elipson will be at the show with its new Elipson W35 Xi connected speaker. Replacing the popular Elipson W35 +, it brings significant sonic improvements, with clearer, more precise highs and mids. To achieve this, it incorporates two 6.5″ midbass drivers coupled with a dual 1″ tweeter for true stereo reproduction. In terms of connectivity, the new Elipson W35 Xi speaker retains many of the functions of the W35+, while now adopting a Chromecast and AirPlay 2 receiver.
Elipson Planet L Gold Edition
The Elipson stand will also allow visitors to discover the new Elipson Planet L Gold Edition speaker range. A direct descendant of the best-selling Elipson Planet L, this new range, comprising three new finishes, takes its spherical shape and adds a gold base and grille. Beyond these luxurious attributes, this new edition benefits from the improvements made by the Elipson Planet L 80th Anniversary, with an optimized filter.
Elipson Chroma 400 RIAA BT x Bleu de Chauffe
The French manufacturer will also be showcasing the limited edition Elipson Chroma 400 RIAA BT turntable. Designed in collaboration with the prestigious French leather goods house Bleu de Chauffe, this new edition is finished in distressed black leather. A chic, elegant finish to match the performance of this special edition, which celebrates French expertise.
The 2023 Paris Audio Video Show will also be an opportunity for the manufacturer to present the complete Heritage range, with the Elipson Heritage XLS 15, Elipson Heritage XLS 11 and the recent Elipson Heritage XLS 7. They will be powered by the brand’s various electronics and associated with the new Elipson Stream S300 XI network player. Cinema fans will be delighted by an area dedicated exclusively to home theater, with demonstrations of the Elipson Horus range.
Elipson will take advantage of the show to present a new pair of speakers for the first time. Still a secret, it will pay tribute to one of the models that made the brand famous in the 70s and 80s. It’s therefore highly likely that the manufacturer will revive this speaker in a Tribute version, as it did with the Elipson BS50 Tribute.
