Hisense UX 4K Mini LED TV: the OLED Killer!

Hisense UX Mini LED TV
Hisense UX mini LED TVs display 4K HDR content with intense color and high contrast. Compatible with 144Hz 4K and AMD FreeSync Premium, they offer gamers superb image smoothness.

Unveiled at IFA 2023, the flagship Hisense UXKQ TV range comes in two picture sizes: the 65″/164cm Hisense 65UXKQ and the 85″/215cm Hisense 85UXKQ. It will be replaced by the Hisense UXNQ range, but only at the end of 2024. The manufacturer will offer a 110″/279cm model in addition to the 65″/164cm and 85″/215cm models.

Destined to embody the best of Hisense Mini LED technology until the end of the year, the Hisense UXKQ 2023 TVs feature an ultra-high-definition 4K QLED panel with high-performance Mini-LED X backlighting. They feature a wide color gamut, high contrast ratio and intense blacks, for a vivid, realistic image.

These Hisense UXKQ TVs are perfect for gaming on video game consoles and PCs thanks to their maximum refresh rate of 144Hz in 4K, their response time of 8 ms and their AMD FreeSync Premium compatibility.

If you’re a cinephile, you’ll appreciate support for HDR Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10, HDR10 Adaptive, HDR10+ and HLG, as well as IMAX Enhanced compatibility and the Filmmaker mode, also supported by the other Hisense Mini LED TV ranges. And if you’re a sports fan, this TV’s highly effective motion compensation technology will deliver smooth, detailed images during matches.

The audio section of Hisense UXKQ televisions delivers 4.1.2-channel surround sound, with an integrated subwoofer. So you can enjoy Dolby Atmos audio tracks without the need for an additional home theater system.

Last but not least, these Hisense connected TVs can access the main audio and video streaming services such as Deezer, Disney+, Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube. Their WiFi 6 connectivity ensures optimal bandwidth and enhanced stability for 4K HDR streaming. The connectors include two HDMI 2.1 ports (144Hz 4K), two HDMI 2.0 ports (60Hz 4K) and two USB multimedia ports.

We’ll have to wait until the last quarter of 2024 to discover the new Hisense UXNQ range, which will benefit from a new anti-glare coating, a maximum refresh rate of 240Hz in HD 1080p (144Hz in 4K), a 4.2.2-channel audio system and the Hi Concerto function (synchronization of the TV’s drivers with those of the soundbar), as well as an all-new remote control incorporating a solar panel to recharge its batteries! Prices for the 65″ and 85″ are not yet known, but should be comparable to those of the Hisense 65UXKQ (€2,490) and Hisense 85UXKQ (€5,490) when they were launched. The price of the 110″ model will be announced at a later date.

As a buyer and seller of second-hand high-tech products for around ten years before joining Son-Vidéo.com in 2007, I had the opportunity to test a variety of amplifiers, speakers, headphones, TVs, projectors and DAPs... Passionate about films and series, music and new technologies, I'm particularly fond of the worlds of TV, video projection and home theater. I like to watch films with my family on the big screen, either at the movie theater or at home, but I also enjoy listening to music on a good hi-fi system, sat in a comfy armchair or on a walk with a pair of headphones.
