One year after the renewal of its Horus range, comprising the Elipson Horus 6B bookshelf speakers, the Elipson Horus 10C central speaker, the Elipson Horus 11F floorstanding speakers and the Elipson Horus 8S subwoofer, the French manufacturer is rolling out a new model. Both an Atmos model for vertical effects and a surround model for lateral and rear effects, the Elipson Horus 6 ATM speaker completes the series to form a complete home theater system.
Elipson Horus, a complete home theater range
It’s the detail that allows movie lovers to enjoy an immersive home theater system. Now cinema enthusiasts can benefit from a home theater set composed entirely of speakers from the Elipson Horus range. The French manufacturer has just unveiled the Elipson Horus 6 ATM Atmos speaker. It features the same finishes and format as its counterparts, for a harmonious, aesthetic integration.
The Elipson Horus 6 ATM speaker is placed on top of the Elipson Horus 11F floorstanding speakers to reproduce the vertical effects of Dolby Atmos tracks, by reflection from the ceiling. This ensures a more immersive sound experience, plunging viewers into the heart of films, series and music, creating a real bubble effect. Adaptive, they can also be ceiling-mounted, in the same axis as the floorstanding speakers.
Horus 6 ATM, a versatile speaker
However, the Elipson Horus 6 ATM speaker goes beyond the reproduction of Atmos vertical effects. A switch on the back of the speakers lets you choose between Atmos and surround sound modes. For example, the speaker can be wall-mounted using the integrated double notch to deliver surround sound effects from films and TV series. Positioned between 1.5 and 1.85 meters from the floor, it provides an immersive experience for films, TV series and video games.
This great versatility makes the Elipson Horus 6 ATM Atmos speakers ideal for upgradeable systems. The speakers are priced at €249 per pair on Son-Vidéo.com.
