I waited a long time before buying a soundbar because the sound quality for music and dialogue is usually just okay. A high-quality, versatile soundbar. Yes, there’s probably nothing better when it comes to surround sound effects for action movies, but who only watches high-octane blockbusters anyway? Once again, I love this soundbar for its versatility and musical quality.

I bought this to supplement my home hi-fi system when I’m on the go. I was looking for a speaker with an accurate and smooth hi-fi sound (Marantz-style), and it delivers on both sound quality and value for money. The highs and mids are precise—perhaps even a bit too neutral (like a monitor speaker). The bass is quite decent but inevitably limited given the size of the speaker. Overall, it produces a beautiful sound that really feels like a “small hi-fi” system and has the added bonus of not disturbing the neighbors in the mobile home park 🙂 A great purchase!

I bought three projectors from another brand that stopped working after three to four months. I can’t compare the lifespan yet because I haven’t installed it, but I did give it a try to check the image quality. It’s incomparable—it’s amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it. With triple laser technology, the image was so good I even had trouble comparing it to my 98 inch Samsung QLED. You really have to see it to believe it. It’s unimaginable—I’ve never seen anything like it. We’ll see how it holds up over time—I’ll keep you posted.

I use this product with Focal Clear MG headphones. Right off the bat, it exudes high-quality craftsmanship—no complaints there; it’s perfect. As for on-the-go use, though, it’s pretty limited […] it’s more in the “portable” category than “on-the-go”. […] In terms of usability, it’s not very complicated—it’s simple and functional, and it offers quite a few connection options. The only “drawback”—though very minor—is that you have to remember to always flip the switch to the “charge” position when plugging it into a USB port […]. As for drawbacks, I’d add that it does get a little warm and actually drains the batteries pretty quickly. As for the sound, I ended up using the balanced 4.4mm output; I get the impression of a soundstage that’s a tad more open, with slightly more power in reserve and bass that’s a bit more solid—this might be subjective, I’m not saying otherwise, but in any case, with this setup, I experience absolutely no listening fatigue […] the sound remains very balanced and perfectly detailed. That said, the difference compared to my iBasso DC07pro isn’t huge either […] and it’s much more recommendable for anyone looking for a portable option. As for the FiiO, it’s for those seeking uncompromising quality, even if it means sacrificing the rest.

My first system consisted of Magnepan 1.7 speakers and an Audio Research tube amplifier. For my second system, to replace a Taga HTA 1200 amplifier paired with Triangle Atoll XS speakers, I chose a Dali Sonik 7 and Yamaha RN 1000A combo. I appreciate the openness and the ability to reproduce a precise soundstage with a somewhat “holographic” quality. These Dali speakers have that quality, which I haven’t found in other, more expensive models. The sound quality is excellent, with a soft, “supple”, and refined treble that extends naturally to the highest frequencies, effectively highlighting the hi-hat work behind Diana Krall. […] The bass is abyssal—these speakers go very low, down to 29 hertz, which is no small feat. It’s not to everyone’s taste, but they should be set up in a 30 m² room that’s fairly light OR paired with an amplifier that offers bass and treble controls. […] Precision, soundstage, transparency, and solid foundation. Two afternoons of listening at Son Video Antibes—thanks, Nicolas! Great team.

After a few hours of breaking it in, it was all there. Power, detail, finesse—in short, the best of analog. I listen exclusively to digital music. Via QOBUZ. DENON CD drive, Cambridge Audio Magic 200m DAC, Bluesound Node 2i streamer, JBK Ti 6K speakers, Viard cables. Now I’m rediscovering all the joy of analog—with added dynamics. And all for a reasonable price.

I was desperately looking for some really good bookshelf speakers, and William from the store in Lyon—whom I’d like to thank for taking the time to let me listen to several brands—set me up with these “little” speakers—which are already aesthetically pleasing and, above all, truly blew me away with their sound—even to my 52-year-old ears! Ever since then, I’ve been getting immense pleasure from listening to music again and feeling real emotions! Hats off to Sonus Faber! And thanks to the son-video.com team 😀

The Sennheiser HD 820 is an extremely demanding pair of headphones: the quality of the audio format and amplification makes all the difference. Its sound reproduction is so precise and transparent that poor mastering or a mediocre recording will stand out immediately. This is probably one of the reasons why they’re so heavily criticized. When properly powered, with high-quality amplification and high-quality FLAC, WAV, or DSD files, they become exceptional: detailed, immersive, powerful, and incredibly refined. These requirements, however, make it a very expensive pair of headphones, since you have to factor in not only its price but also that of the entire audio system needed to truly get the most out of it. […] If, like me, you’ve been hesitating for many years to take the plunge, the investment is truly worth it. Don’t get hung up on reviews posted online—most are based on specs or videos people have seen without actually trying them out. Purchasing the 75-inch Sony Bravia 9 II TV to replace my 55-inch Sony X8505B from 2012–2014 represents a real technological leap forward, both in terms of picture quality and sound reproduction. The TV is relatively easy to set up and offers settings tailored to different streaming platforms or the content you’re watching. It’s a significant investment, but I have absolutely no regrets about upgrading from a 55-inch screen to a 75-inch one with a viewing distance of 2.80 m: the immersion is simply exceptional. Brightness is another standout feature. It can be easily adjusted to suit the room’s layout, ensuring a consistently pleasing picture, day or night. Personally, I particularly enjoy the IMAX Enhanced picture mode for watching movies. The picture quality is truly remarkable. […] I therefore recommend this TV without the slightest hesitation. For those looking for excellent picture quality, a very good built-in audio system, and an immersive cinematic experience, the Sony Bravia 9 II is an excellent choice.
