Labrinth – Euphoria Season 2 ST
Returning to create the soundtrack for Euphoria Season 2, Labrinth creates the perfect atmosphere to accompany and convey the angst of the HBO original series. With chilling layered vocals and driving electronic beats, the world of Euphoria comes to life!
This exclusive VMP edition of the Euphoria Season 2 Official Score From The HBO Original Series album was pressed on Hazy Dawn vinyl at Memphis Recording (MRP). Installed on a turntable, Labrinth – Euphoria Season 2 ST unveils haunting tracks such as “The Angels” and “See You Assholes Later”, as well as several tracks with Zendaya, Dominic Fike and Angus Cloud.
Louise Attaque – Planète Terre
2022 was synonymous with Louise Attaque’s anniversary and saw the release of their fifth album, Planète Terre. To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the French pop rock band unveiled this project mixed by Tchad Blake, American record producer, sound engineer, mixer and musician (Arctic Monkeys, U2, Last Shadow Puppets…).
Planète Terre offers a portrait of earthlings and evokes their questions and dreams across 11 tracks, which include “Sortir de l’ordinaire”, “De soi-même” and “Nous, on veut vivre nous”.
Taylor Swift – Midnights: limited edition marbled vinyl
The end of the year also saw the release of the limited edition vinyl Midnights by Taylor Swift. Available in marbled, blue or brown versions, this record is highly decorative. You can display it in a vinyl record frame or on a Rock on Wall wood 33T stand.
This edition includes all 13 tracks of the album. According to the artist, these songs were written in the middle of the night. They tell the stories of her sleepless nights. It describes Taylor Swift’s journey through her dreams and nightmares.
Back to the Future: The Musical

The musical Back to the Future was nominated in 7 categories for the 2022 Olivier Awards. It won four WhatsOnStage awards at the 22nd annual awards ceremony. Added to these are the Best New Musical, Best Supporting Actor (Hugh Coles), Best Lighting (Tim Lutkin) and Best Sound (Gareth Owen) accolades.
Back to the Future: The Musical includes compositions by Grammy award winners Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, as well as other songs from the film.
Arctic Monkeys – The Car
The famous British band Arctic Monkeys recently unveiled their seventh studio album on vinyl. Entitled The Car, this album includes 10 new songs written by Alex Turner and produced by James Ford. These tracks were recorded at Butley Priory (Suffolk), RAK Studios (London) and La Frette (near Paris).
The album was announced last August with the release of the first single “There’d Better Be a Mirrorball”. The latter was accompanied by a music video. A month later, the song “Body Paint” was revealed after being broadcast on BBC Radio 1. The album was release a month later, in late October. To this day, Arctic Monkeys still ranks as one of the most influential bands, with more than 25 million albums sold and more than 30 No. 1 hits in the charts worldwide.
Ludwig Göransson – Music from the Mandalorian: Season 2
This list of December vinyl releases also includes Ludwig Göransson – Music from the Mandalorian: Season 2. The latter features the soundtrack of the series, which takes place in the Star Wars universe. Just like Music from the Mandalorian: season 1, the season 2 soundtrack was written by Oscar and Grammy Award winner Ludwig Göransson (Black Pantherand Creed).
Fans of the series will particularly appreciate the illustrations on both sides of this record, which you can use to decorate your listening room!
Amy Winehouse – At The BBC
Amy Winehouse’s posthumous album At The BBC rounds off this list of December 2022 vinyl releases. Originally released in 2012, this reissue includes three discs and features live songs performed by Amy Winehouse on BBC specials between 2004 and 2009. You can (re)discover the tracks “Know You Now”, “Teach Me Tonight”, “Just Friends” or “You Know I’m No Good”!
This release follows in the footsteps of the Lioness: Hidden Treasures album, with proceeds going to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. The goal of this charity is to fight the root causes that lead youth to substance abuse.
