Yamaha presents two new pieces of portable audio equipment, starting with the Yamaha YH-E700B Bluetooth headphones, which replace the Yamaha YH-E700A. With a completely rethought design, the YH-E700B go beyond expectations, taking up and improving on the key features that made their predecessor such a success. The Japanese brand also reveals its latest Yamaha TW-E3C True Wireless earbuds, successors to the Yamaha TW-E3B.
Yamaha YH-E700B headphones: a new design and a host of features
The Yamaha YH-E700B headphones are clearly distinguished from their predecessor by their revisited design. Gone are the imposing round earcups, which now have a more conventional elliptical format. They are also more compact than the TH-E700A model. However, the Yamaha YH-E700B weigh slightly more than their predecessor: 335g vs. 325g.
Key features of the new headphones include a low-latency mode. This guarantees a smooth, uninterrupted gaming experience. In addition, the headphones’ Bluetooth chip has been updated to version 5.2 and is now compatible with the aptX Adaptive codec. Note that wired connection to the audio source is still possible via the mini-jack connector on the left earpiece.
The YH-E700B still benefit from the advanced technologies of their predecessor. They include features such as the Listening Optimizer. The latter automatically adjusts equalization according to the shape of the listener’s ears. The Listening Care function is also included and adapts the equalization according to the volume.
The headphones also feature the active noise cancelling and ambient sound monitoring features developed by the brand. Users can therefore enjoy their music to the full in any environment. Finally, the YH-E700B offer up to 32 hours of playback.

Yamaha TW-E3C: versatile, affordable earbuds
The Japanese brand continues its breakthrough into the True Wireless earbuds market with the launch of the new Yamaha TW-E3C, an affordable model offering a host of features. As with their predecessor, there’s also a Transparency mode to allow you to hear surrounding sounds. This feature comes in handy for hearing announcements at the station or having a short conversation without having to remove the earbuds. However, the active noise cancelling function is reserved for the brand’s high-end models.
