For the French Open 2026, Devialet has announced an unprecedented collaboration with Roland-Garros. The French acoustic engineering specialist is unveiling an exclusive version of its Devialet Phantom Ultimate connected speakers, with a finish directly inspired by the Parisian clay court. This 100% French partnership aims to convey all the emotion of the tournament through an approach combining design, performance and acoustic expertise.

A meeting between two French symbols

With this collaboration, Devialet and Roland-Garros highlight a shared vision of excellence. On the one hand, the Parisian tournament, a world benchmark for clay court tennis. On the other, a brand that in just a few years has become one of the most recognized ambassadors of French high-end audio on the international stage.

The two worlds are united by the same quest for precision and emotion. Devialet draws a parallel between the technical demands of top-level sport and those of high-fidelity sound reproduction. Every detail counts, whether it’s an exchange on the Philippe-Chatrier court or the control of frequencies and acoustic dynamics in the Parisian brand’s laboratories. Jacques Demont, CEO of Devialet, describes the collaboration as “natural” between two companies who share a desire to promote French excellence throughout the world, while placing emotion at the heart of the experience.

The collaboration between Devialet and Roland-Garros celebrates two French references driven by the same quest for precision, performance and emotion, from the Philippe-Chatrier court to the laboratories of the specialist in high-end connected speakers.

A speaker inspired by the Philippe Chatrier court

For this limited edition, the French manufacturer retains the iconic lines of Devialet Phantom Ultimate, but radically revamps their aesthetic appearance. The famous metal side plates give way to an ocher finish directly evoking the clay of the French Open, while the white lines of the court are reproduced by laser engraving and covered with several layers of tinted varnish.

The brand’s designers explain that they were inspired by the reflection of the Philippe-Chatrier court on the Coupe des Mousquetaires trophy to create this particularly sophisticated visual signature. Finally, the official Roland-Garros logo is applied to the top of the speaker using a pad printing process. More than just an aesthetic exercise, this special edition transforms the Devialet Phantom Ultimate speakers into true collector’s items, capable of seducing music lovers and sports enthusiasts alike.

Dressed in an elegant finish inspired by Parisian clay, the Devialet Phantom Ultimate Roland Garros Exclusive Edition revisits the iconic Phantom design with engraved flanges evoking the lines of the Philippe-Chatrier court and the world of the tournament.

Two versions for two approaches to listening

The Devialet Phantom Ultimate Roland Garros Exclusive Edition will be available in two distinct versions. The first uses the configuration of the flagship Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 dB model. It features a 3-way stereo architecture, with an aluminum tweeter on the front coupled to two ABS dome woofers on the sides for ultra-deep bass down to 14 Hz. All powered by patented ADH (Analog Digital Hybrid) amplification delivering a colossal 1100 W of distortion-free power. Compatible with audio streams up to 32-bit/96kHz, this version aims for a particularly spectacular reproduction, with extremely deep bass and high dynamic capability. It promises sensations and emotions as intense as a French Open final.

With its 1100 W of power, side-mounted woofers capable of going down to 14 Hz and 3-way architecture, the Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108 dB Roland-Garros speaker promises spectacular, physical and immersive sound reproduction.

The second version retains the features of the Devialet Phantom Ultimate 98 dB, with a more compact format and 400 W amplification. However, it keeps an extended frequency response from 18 Hz to 25 kHz thanks to its dual aluminum dome bass driver coupled to a full-range driver on the front panel. Just as versatile as its big sister, it can receive music wirelessly or connect to a physical source via its Toslink optical input, compatible up to 24 bits / 192 kHz.

Under this exclusive finish, both speakers retain the proprietary technologies that have helped build Devialet’s reputation in recent years. In particular, the brand highlights its new-generation ADH architecture, combining Class A analog amplification and Class D digital power to achieve finesse, dynamics and optimized energy efficiency. SAM technology ensures real-time adaptation of the signal to the drivers, preserving phase and amplitude with maximum precision. AVL technology automatically adjusts volume to maintain a constant tonal balance according to the content being listened to.

Behind these Roland-Garros editions lie Devialet’s flagship technologies: hybrid ADH amplification, real-time SAM calibration and intelligent AVL volume control for precise, dynamic and perfectly controlled sound reproduction.

A modernized software platform

This Roland-Garros edition also marks the arrival of a new software platform called Devialet DOS3, introduced with the Devialet Astra amplifier. The aim is to create a shared environment for the brand’s future products while enriching the user experience. These two Devialet speakers feature support for today’s main streaming protocols, including AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and UPnP for local playback.

The app provides a range of dedicated listening modes for different uses. A Music mode favors a faithful reproduction of artistic intent, while a Podcast mode optimizes voice clarity. A Cinema configuration is also available to enhance immersion when watching films and series. Finally, the most discerning users will be able to adjust the sound via a six-band equalizer, accompanied by Loudness and bass reduction functions.

The Devialet mobile app lets you adjust speaker output with three DSD modes (cinema, music and podcast), a 6-band equalizer, as well as loudness and a night mode.
