Japanese brand Yamaha is expanding its soundbar range with the Yamaha B200A, a compact 60 cm-wide model designed for small TVs, bedrooms, and gaming setups. Despite its modest size, this new model features Dolby Atmos three-dimensional sound reproduction, several audio processing modes optimized for dialogue and video games, and a range of connectors suited for everyday use. It is scheduled to go on sale in November 2026 for €299.

The new Yamaha B200A soundbar is 60 cm wide and just 6.4 cm tall. This size makes it easy to place in front of a small TV up to 50” or under a computer monitor. Wall mounting is also possible thanks to the mounting points on the back.
This ultra-compact soundbar supports the immersive Dolby Atmos format to create a three-dimensional sound field. Yamaha designed this spatial audio experience for movies, sports broadcasts, and video games. For the latter, the Game Sound mode focuses on effects such as footsteps and gunshots. The system is powered by an amplifier module that delivers 70 W, 30 W of which is dedicated to the low frequencies.

Movie mode is designed for cinematic content, Stereo mode prioritizes two-channel sound, Standard mode is suited for everyday use, and Game mode is optimized for video games.
