The French specialist Elipson completes its range of Elipson Infinite cinema speakers with two new in-ceiling speakers: the Elipson Infinite INF6 and Elipson Infinite INF8. These speakers combine the power and technologies of the Infinite range with a format that can be fully integrated into the ceiling, perfect for reproducing Atmos or surround sound effects.

The Elipson Infinite INF6 and Elipson Infinite INF8 ceiling speakers are the latest addition to the Elipson Infinite speaker range, designed to be installed in the walls and ceiling of a dedicated room.

Elipson Infinite: a comprehensive range

With the Elipson Infinite series, the oldest French speaker brand offers a full range of speakers for home theater integration. To do this, the Elipson Infinite 8 and Elipson Infinite 14 speakers can be mounted on a wall or built into a partition. They allow direct sound diffusion, even through acoustically transparent projection screens. They can act as front, center and surround speakers, and even Atmos speakers. The Elipson Infinite range is completed by the Elipson Infinite S12 passive subwoofer, which can also be wall-mounted or built into a partition. This model is ideally associated with the Elipson Infinite A1000 power amplifier that delivers 1000 watts into 4 ohms.

The new Elipson Infinite INF6 and Elipson Infinite INF8 in-wall speakers complete this range of cinema speakers. Intended to be installed in the ceiling, they offer an even more discreet solution for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X or Auro 3D tracks.

The new Elipson Infinite INF6 and Elipson Infinite INF8 speakers can be easily installed in a drop ceiling, to ensure the reproduction of Dolby Atmos/DTS:X or surround sound effects.

Elipson Infinite: carbon drivers

Home theater speakers must meet very specific requirements. The main criterion is exceptional power handling to absorb all the energy of movie and series soundtracks. To this end, Elipson has developed a cone made from carbon fibers combined with polymethylacrylamide (PDMA) foam. This blend guarantees lightness and rigidity. Its power handling capacity is maximized, making it possible to produce much higher sound levels while maintaining perfect control. This cone is found on the midbass drivers of all Elipson Infinite speakers. It measures 6.7″ for the Elipson Infinite 8 and Elipson Infinite 14 speakers, 6.2″ for the Elipson Infinite INF6 speaker, and 7.9″ for the Elipson Infinite INF8 speaker. The use of the same driver for all the speakers in the range ensures optimal tonal coherence.

Thanks to carbon and foam composite drivers, all the speakers in the Elipson Infinite range benefit from very high power handling capacity to enhance film soundtracks.

Elipson Infinite: improved tweeters

The power handling capacity of the Elipson Infinite speakers also results from the use of a very specific tweeter. This ring-type tweeter measures 1″ on the Elipson Infinite 8 and Elipson Infinite 14 speakers. It is able to withstand high power and can reach very high frequencies. For the new in-ceiling speakers, the French manufacturer has installed a new titanium dome tweeter. It measures 0.75″ in diameter for the Elipson Infinite INF6 and 1″ for the Elipson Infinite INF8. This tweeter has the particularity of being adjustable at 30° in all directions, thus ensuring optimal propagation of sound effects, regardless of the location of the speaker in the room.

The tweeter of the new Elipson Infinite INF6 and Elipson Infinite INF8 in-ceiling speakers can be oriented at 30° in all directions to ensure optimal transmission of the different frequencies.

With the new Elipson Infinite INF6 and Elipson Infinite INF8 in-ceiling speakers, the French manufacturer allows you to create a real private cinema in which all the elements are fully integrated into the walls or the ceiling.
