We know a little more about the Hisense 8K laser projector, announced at the last CES. The Hisense 100LX 8K can project ultra-detailed images (7680 x 4320 pixels) with a very wide color space. It uses a Hisense LPU digital laser and supports Dolby Vision. This Hisense laser TV also features Harman Kardon’s Dolby Atmos 4.1.2-channel audio system. What’s more, it can be controlled by gestures or voice commands. This should further cement the reputation of Hisense laser TVs on the global market!

The Hisense 100LX 8K laser projector uses the proprietary LPU digital laser technology found, for example, on the Hisense 120L9G-A12. As a result, it boasts very wide color coverage, reaching 110% of the BT.2020 gamut. An ideal configuration for an extraordinary palette of hues, with 1.07 billion colors.

At the official presentation of the Hisense 100LX 8K laser TV, the manufacturer revealed a wealth of information about the image and sound quality of this future 8K projector.

What’s more, the Hisense 100LX 8K supports Dolby Vision and IMAX Enhanced formats, guaranteeing viewers a true cinematic experience.

Hisense 100LX 8K: Dolby Atmos sound

What could be better than an immersive sound bubble to plunge you even deeper into the picture? This is what the Hisense 100LX 8K offers with its integrated 4.1.2-channel audio system, developed by Harman Kardon. Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X compatible, this projector offers a sound ambience comparable to that produced by traditional Dolby Atmos soundbars.

To provide an intuitive user experience, the Hisense 100LX 8K is expected to integrate the proprietary Vidaa interface already present on the manufacturer’s OLED TVs, QLED TVs and connected projectors.

The Vidaa U interface on the manufacturer’s connected TVs and projectors provides access to the majority of streaming services on the market.

It will be supported by 4GB of RAM to guarantee smooth navigation. This Hisense projector will also feature 128GB of storage space for downloading multiple applications. Finally, its HDMI 2.1 connectors will be complemented by Bluetooth 5.1 (with NFC) and WiFi 6.

Sales of the new Hisense 100LX 8K Laser TV projector will begin in China before moving on to other markets. For the moment, the manufacturer has not indicated a price or availability date.
